Hello Everyone!
This is my first blogpost ever and it took me quite some time to write. I was a bit nervous about this because my whole blog will depend on this post.
I looked up tons of articles and blogs about: ‘how to write the perfect first blogpost’ that wasn’t to smart because they only made me more nervous. They’d say that the title and the first few sentences of your blog post would be the most important thing because if those weren’t inviting, people wouldn’t continue reading.
So I started thinking, what could be my title? I always thought that the title of your first blog post should be something with ‘Hello’ or ‘Welcome’ (keeping that in mind I wanted to name the title of this blogpost ‘Hello Everyone!’), but that’s not the case, your first blogpost title can be anything you want if it’s only intriguing. So that made me think, what title could I possibly put above this post, maybe something that describes me? Or should it be something that describes my blog? Then it came to me… I would call the title of my first blogpost ‘The (to me) Dreaded first blog post’.
Now may not all the bloggers and people out there find it hard to write a first blog post (that’s why I did the ‘to me’ between brackets), but I most certaintly did.
So there it was my title. Now on to the writing. I thought about what my writing in the post could be about. I had no idea… I knew I had to introduce myself but I also had to write an intriguing story. But it occured to me that I don’t really have intresting stories to tell that could be intriguing. So continuing on the topic of my title I wrote this. And I am happy about it.
Now on to the introducing part of my first blog post, I almost forgot about this because I got so lost in writing the text from above. Here it is:
My name is Chiara Pignato, I am 16 years ‘young’ and I live in the Netherlands. My hobbies are reading, writing, watching series, listening to music, eating (like every average teenager) and singing. I don’t like school (probably like every other average teenager as well). I am starting this blog because I like writing. When I was younger I always dreamed about writing my own book or being the director of a very popular magazine. Of course those were all the dreams of a young child with a big imagination but a little part of me still wants it. I’d still like to write my own book but I wouldn’t know how to start. So I thought why not start a blog? All though the main reason I am starting this blog is so that I have to do something in the summer and won’t be sitting inside all day long watching Netflix and stuffing myself with food.
So that pretty much sums it all up. I hope you enjoy my blog and goodbye for now.
